BENDING TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities as follows but not limited to : 1) Reporting to Production Manager and Asst. Manufacturing Manager. 2) Supervise and review manufacturing operation to maximize and productive use of manpower, process and equipment. Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials, improve OEE to maximize production process. 3) To assist Production Section Head or Production Manager in design, develop & deploy safe, efficient & sustainable manufacturing systems in supporting factory's goal. 4) To assist Production Section Head or Production Manager in refine or revise standard operating procedures (S.O.P), Response Flow Chart (RFC) upon request or when encounter there is any deviations related to operation flows must be corrected. 5) Proactive in process improvement (yield, quality, cyle time) and cost savings activitities. Perform Analysis on high rejection rate/ long cycle time items to indentify root causes by conducting production studies with Product/ Process Engineering team and drive for permanent solutions. 6) Support Production team/supervisor to particapates in troubleshooting operational problems, problem solvings, review data collection/driven and provide recommendations/solutions to minimize production' rejection rate and production disruptions. Important to ensure readiness of process parameter & control/Jig & Fixture/ Tooling/Equipment/operator skillset to achieve Repeatability & Reproducibility of product in Mass Production (Gage R&R). 7) Take lead in NCR or 8D replied which related to production issue, to work with production supervisor to define actual root cause, effective corrective action and preventive action/ prevent recurrence to minimize production' rejection rate and production disruptions in future. 8) Involve together with Process Engineering team during installation of new equipment or machine. Require to understand on new machine specification and capability, ensure related documents (WI, Guideline, etc) establish and provide training to production supervisor. 9) Review OEE data captured and lead production team to improve OEE in Availability, Performance efficiency and Quality of product. 10) To lead activity for OEE steering by minimize downtime waiting material feeding to the production line by studying layout, cycle time, introduce new concept for feeding and improve communication between warehouse and transportation. 11) Participate in developing operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives 12) Carry any other tasks assigned by Production Manager and Asst. Manufacturing Manager.
