We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service cum Accounting Clerk to provide a range of customer service, accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks for our organization. Your responsibilities will include: Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department 2. Type accurately, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records 3. Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements 4. Reconcile accounts in a timely manner 5. Daily enter key data of financial transactions into the database 6. Provide aid and support to company personnel 7. Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies 8. Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas 9. Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws 10. Work experience in the Courier and Logistic industries will be an added advantage 11. Responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner 12. Resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner 13. Keeping accurate records of customer interactions and transactions 14. Working with internal teams to provide satisfactory answers to customer questions 15. Looking for opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services 16. Handling negative reviews and turning them into positive experiences Requirements: 1. Diploma or relevant certification is a plus 2. Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk 3. Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures 4. Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software 5. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports 6. Accuracy and attention to detail 7. Aptitude for numbers and data entry skills 8. Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks 9. Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively 10. Good communicator verbally and in writing 11. Good problem solving skill 12. Able to adapt to dynamic working environment
