PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING: Position: EVENTS ASSISTANT (CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS) Job Requirements 1. Degree holder. Preferably in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Tourism, or any field related. 2. Familiar with elements related to event (Audio, Visual, Marketing, Regulations) 3. Candidates are required to work from the office and must be able to commute to the office (located in SS15 Subang Jaya). 4. Candidates must possess a valid driving licence. 5. Must be fit to work with short deadlines, and probably long hours (sometimes on weekends & public holidays). 6. Must be able to read, write, and conversant in English & Bahasa Malaysia 7. Must be a competent computer user (Google Workspace and Microsoft Office) Job Descriptions 1. Assist in communicating with stakeholders related to the event. 2. Assist in event planning. 3. Assist in documentation related to events. 4. Help oversee and coordinate the work of event staff, such as volunteers and event suppliers. 5. Assist with event equipment management. 6. Maintain clear and effective communication when working with clients, vendors, Faith Events’ team members, and other relevant parties. 7. Be able to come up with creative solutions to challenges that may arise during the planning and execution of an event. 8. Need to be adaptable and able to handle changes or unexpected situations. 9. Maintain records of agreements and other relevant documents. 10. Assist in any ad-hoc matters as necessary. 11. Provide general assistance to the Faith Events team as needed. 12. Developing written content for marketing and communication that will separate us from the crowd. 13. Act as the key point of contact for all inquiries from the stakeholders, the vendors, the media, and the public. 14. Liaise and maintain good relations with the stakeholders, the vendors, the media, and the public. 15. Manage communications of the company with the stakeholders, the vendors, the media, and the public. 16. Communicate company messages, and ensure the appropriate release of information by the company to the stakeholders, the vendors, the media, and the public. 17. Perform ad hoc duties assigned by the superior from time to time. Office Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor (SS 15) The candidate must have their own transport. The candidate is required to work from the office. Salary: RM 2100 - RM 2800 (Depending on experience & qualifications).
