Job Purpose
Perform day-to-day payment operations processing for RENTAS and Cross Border payment, as a backup to Treasury Processing unit and additional job functions assigned from time to time within Operations division to meet objectives set by the Group, Company, and Department through: -
•Consistent high-quality performance in processing Treasury & Payment related transactions.
•Consistent high-quality performance in work with emphasis on accuracy, TAT, and productivity.
•Consistent high-quality service to customer (internal and external).
Key Responsibilities
•Process RENTAS and Cross Border payments within TAT, error free and guided by operations procedures, standard policies, guidelines and working instructions (WI).
•Prepare and post accounting entries correctly as per respective processes.
•Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reporting as and when required.
•Perform end of day reconciliation and ensure no outstanding/error.
•Perform BCP/DR exercises as per planned schedule.
•Review and update procedure/user guide on yearly basis.
•Handling internal/external customers enquiry and investigation cases.
•Filling of transaction record as per archiving process.
•Assist in process enhancement and bank-wide projects.
•Perform UAT for any related system project or enhancement.
•Participant in any industry wide testing requested by BNM.
•To ensure compliance and filling documents as per archiving process.
•To effectively manage workload on daily basis and response all query emails on timely basis.
•To provide guidance and training to junior staff on BAU matter.
•Demonstrate effective communication skills within the team without fail and escalate any system glitches or payment issues in a timely manner.
•Assist Treasury Processing as and when required.
•Relief Payment Operations as the maker or checker function.
•Any ad-hoc task assigned by unit head/HOD.
•Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services to customers through meeting or exceeding customer expectation guided by the Service level Agreement, efficient/ accuracy standards, and good business processes/ judgment.
•Support in business expansion, roll-out of the Company’s policies and initiatives as and when required.
•Avoid operational/reputational losses and ensure awareness and full compliance of all laid down rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices, and code of conduct imposed by the Company/ Group.
•Collaborate with information technology, risk, and audit department in conducting business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.
•Work towards zero audit findings.
•Compliance with BNM’s Management of Customer Information and Permitted Disclosures Policy.
•The duties and responsibilities attached to posts may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed.
•In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the job holder may be required to perform other duties as assigned by his/her immediate leader or any senior manager from time to time.
