Technician - Maintenance

1. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager or Assistant Maintenance, perform general maintenance and repairs to the hotel as required. 2. Repair and troubleshoot equipment as needed, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues. 3. Respond promptly to guest and staff requests for maintenance, addressing issues efficiently and effectively. 4. Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for maintenance tasks. 5. Inspect equipment regularly for preventive maintenance, identifying and addressing any potential issues proactively. 6. Conduct general repairs such as painting, patching walls, and hanging shelves to maintain the appearance and functionality of hotel facilities. 7. Operate machinery and equipment as required for maintenance tasks, ensuring proper usage and safety protocols. 8. Perform janitorial duties and other related tasks as required to support the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel. 9. Perform any other duties as required by management from time to time, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to contribute to various tasks and projects. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in relevant field preferred. · At least two years of experience working as a technician or maintenance personnel, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. · Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other technical equipment commonly found in hotels. · Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team. · Good communication skills, both verbal and written. · Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. · Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
