Technical Engineer

• Responsible for wire bond process, overseeing process yield and process improvement to meet assembly yield targets • Possess in depth knowledge of wire bond process specifications, having experience in QFN package and process control plan • To recommend project-based systems improvement and cost saving programs at work area so as to build product with build-in-quality and cost effective. • Liaise with suppliers to improve process capabilities and communication with customers to meet their requirement. • Lead the team in the respective sections and identify areas for assembly yields, productivity, down time of equipment and quality improvements. • To train and develop subordinates on the job employing and reinforcing good quality practices and analysis tools to improve line efficiency and productivity. • Coordinate new product /equipment qualifications with all relevant departments and engineers. • Investigate and analyze internal failures and customer field failures involving released product. Recommend and implement corrective and preventive measures as necessary • Interact with all relevant departments on assembly and manufacturing issues. • Interact with vendors on material/equipment issues.
