The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing safety procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. Safety Compliance: Ensure site operations adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards. Stay updated with changes in safety laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments. 2. Safety Program Management: Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures. Monitor and enforce safety protocols and standards on-site. 3. Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and recommend corrective actions. 4. Training and Development: Provide safety training and orientation for new and existing employees. Organize and conduct safety drills and emergency response training. 5. Incident Management: Investigate accidents and near-misses, analyze causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate records of incidents and ensure proper documentation. 6. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Ensure all site personnel are trained in emergency response and evacuation procedures. 7. Safety Equipment and Resources: Ensure that all safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are available, maintained, and used correctly. Oversee the inventory and proper storage of safety supplies. 8. Safety Communication: Serve as the primary contact for safety-related issues and concerns on-site. Communicate safety updates, policies, and procedures to all site personnel. 9. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit regular safety performance reports to management. 10. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to improve safety practices and address safety issues. Support management in implementing safety initiatives and improving safety culture. Job Requirements 1. At least three (1) years working experience as site safety supervisor 2. Must have excellent communication skills on all fronts 3. Must be someone that pays keen attention to details at all times 4. Must have good organizational abilities 5. Must be able and willing to coordinate the activities of other workers in safety-related matters 6. Must be someone that has good interpersonal skills 7. Must be proactive and diligent in carrying out your duties 8. Must never delay in acting towards any hazardous situation 9. Possession of excellent leadership skills is a must
