We specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems. As part of our expansion plans, we are seeking a skilled and certified Grid-Connected PV Systems Designer to join our dynamic team in the role of Technical Sales (Solar PV) Supervisor. JOB SUMMARY: As a Technical Sales (Solar PV) Supervisor, you will lead our sales team in promoting and selling grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems to residential, commercial, and industrial clients across Malaysia. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of solar PV projects from initial consultation to final installation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and generating leads for grid-connected PV system installations. • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the solar PV industry. • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients throughout the sales process, including system design, feasibility analysis, and proposal development. • Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project requirements, assess potential challenges, and propose tailored PV solutions. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and installation teams, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements. • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring favourable outcomes for both parties. • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the solar PV sector in Malaysia. • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to sales team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. • Certification in Wireman/Chargeman Solar PV is preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the solar PV industry. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment. • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, including design principles, components, and installation practices. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and compellingly. • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience leading and motivating a sales team to achieve collective goals. • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools. • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building long-term client relationships. • Ability to travel frequently within Malaysia to meet with clients, attend industry events and oversee project sites.
