Senior Consultant

Summary: We are looking for a strong technical background to manage tooling operations, provide product support, and oversee project management tasks. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with Tooling products and a proven ability in migration, support, and system optimization. Key responsibilities include handling critical technical issues, managing system upgrades, and ensuring effective knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement. Scope of Work: • Develop and implement engineering solutions related to tooling and product support. • Oversee the operation and management of tooling products including BMC BHOM, BMC TrueSight Operations Management (TSOM), and TSCO Capacity Optimization. • Provide comprehensive support for tooling products and resolve technical issues. • Lead and manage projects related to system upgrades and implementations. • Implement new systems and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth operations. • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure service quality. • Train and transfer knowledge to the support team for effective product and system management. Required Skills and Experience: • 6+ years of experience with strong knowledge of Tooling products (BMC BHOM, BMC TrueSight Operations Management, TSCO Capacity Optimization). • Proficiency in migrating from BMC TSOM & BMC TSCO to BHOM. • Familiarity with Microsoft SCOM, Nagios, Netgain, CA, and other enterprise/open source tools is advantageous. • Ability to support system monitoring infrastructure and ensure proper configuration of monitoring agents. • Experience in resolving critical technical issues, conducting emergency troubleshooting, performing post-mortem analysis, and providing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with improvement recommendations. • Skills in managing system upgrades, deployment, and maintaining smooth system operations. • Expertise in day-to-day operations, administration, tuning, and capacity management to ensure system performance. • Capability to resolve midrange system incidents and issues within agreed timelines. • Proficiency in operational fault analysis and recommending improvements for the production batch window. • Strong scripting skills in Windows/Unix for automation and task improvement. • Good understanding of PaaS, DaaS, SaaS, IaaS, Cloud, Storage, Mainframe, and Network monitoring tools including BMC/Spectrum. • Experience in building dashboards using eMite and other holistic dashboard tools for real-time and predictive monitoring. Skills needed: • Tooling products (Truesight, BMC BHOM, BMC TSOM, TSCO Capacity Optimization), migration expertise, and familiarity with SCOM, Nagios, Netgain, and CA, System monitoring, critical issue resolution, system upgrades, Windows/Unix scripting, dashboard creation, fault analysis, and performance management. PaaS, DaaS, SaaS, IaaS, Cloud, Storage, Mainframe, and Network monitoring tools including BMC/Spectrum.
