Job Description 1. To collaborate and work together with the Design team for the design concept arising from new projects proposal and confirmed projects. 2. Responsible for die set layout design and come out finish good parts. 3. Responsible for design metal die set, testing new sample and review modification of die set. 4. Review customer inquiries on specification, sketches, drawings ideas, and related data. 5. Ensure consistency and accuracy of design to ensure minimum error in material take off. 6. Revise drawing and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancement. 7. Ensure job done adhere to applicable code, design and specification requirement, accepted engineering practices, and ISO 9001 requirement. 8. Work closely and liaise with engineers to ensure drawings are accurate and in keeping with design intentions. 9. Research and re-engineering new materials and methods of development to achieve a competitive edge. 10. Help to determine equipment needs and specifications for manufacturing of design parts. 11. Organize and maintain existing engineering records. 12. Handle and maintain engineering software. 13. Develop mechanical concepts, applies engineering theories and methods to investigate and identify solution for complex technical problems. 14. Maintain knowledge and awareness of technology, customer, competition and government/regulation initiatives. 15. Any other duties and functions that may be assigned by the company. Requirement: 1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent. 2. Required language (s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. 3. At least 3 - 5 years of working experience in related field is required for this position. 4. Preferably experience specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent. 5. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and metal stamping processes.
