POSITION: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR Job responsibilities: 1. Production Management: • Supervise the daily operations of the production floor to ensure timely and efficient production. • Ensure that production schedules are followed and targets are met. • Monitor production workflows to improve processes and minimize delays. 2. Quality Control: • Ensure the quality of products meets the required standards. • Identify defects or issues in the production line and take corrective actions. • Collaborate with quality control teams to implement quality assurance practices. 3. Team Supervision: • Manage, train, and supervise production staff to ensure they meet performance standards. • Assign tasks to team members and monitor their performance. • Resolve any issues or conflicts among staff and foster teamwork. 4. Safety and Compliance: • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. • Conduct safety briefings and training for workers. • Investigate and report any accidents or near-miss incidents on the production floor. 5. Resource Management: • Ensure that equipment and materials are available when needed. • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department for necessary supplies. • Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning by scheduling regular maintenance. 6. Reporting and Documentation: • Maintain production records, including output, defects, and equipment usage. • Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly production reports. • Track productivity and suggest improvements to increase efficiency. 7. Process Improvement: • Continuously analyze and optimize production processes for cost savings and productivity. • Work with management to implement new technologies or processes. • Identify and solve bottlenecks in the production line. 8. Communication: • Liaise with other departments (e.g., e-commerce, quality control etc) to coordinate production efforts. • Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding production updates and issues. Qualifications & experience: 1. Minimum Diploma or above is required. 2. More than 2 years of factory production line management experience. 3. Have good work coordination skills and active teamwork skills. 4. Required language(s): Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English 5.Able to work under pressure 6. Good MS Office knowledge
