Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing technical support and troubleshooting, conducting regular maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, systems, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance & Repairs: Perform regular maintenance on equipment, machines, or systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair issues as needed.

2. Technical Support: Provide hands-on support for installations, upgrades, and technical issues for various equipment or systems.

3. Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot technical problems, using diagnostic tools and standard procedures to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and work completed. Document issues and resolutions, and report on maintenance activities.

5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Adhere to company policies and protocols for safety and operational guidelines.

6. Equipment Testing: Conduct tests on equipment and systems to confirm proper functioning. Perform calibration and adjustments as necessary.

7. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels for parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or technical certification in relevant field preferred.

· Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar technician role, with experience in relevant industry.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and relevant software/systems.

· Knowledge: Strong understanding of [industry-specific systems, e.g., electrical, mechanical, etc.].

· Other Skills: Good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift and carry up to [X pounds].
