Supplier Quality Assistant Engineer

Responsibilities: Supplier Quality Inspection – Ensure the accuracy of supplier quality inspection for incoming materials. Ensure adherence to established quality standard. Support Supplier qualification – Aid in the qualification process for new suppliers by gathering necessary documentation and conducting preliminary reviews of vendor compliance. Documentation and Reporting – Maintaining records of supplier assessments, non-conformance reports and corrective actions. Provide regular updates to the Supplier Quality Engineer. Assessment Tracking – Help track supplier quality performance during the assessment phase, ensuring that all components meet regulatory and company standard. Non-conformance Support – Assist in the investigation of non-conformance issues and help prepare 8D report for supplier-related quality complaints. SCARs follow-up – Support the supplier quality engineer in raising Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and follow up on their resolution. General Administration support – Perform other administrative and technical support duties as required by the supplier quality engineer and quality team. Qualifications: -Diploma or Degree in an engineering discipline. -Minimum 1-2 QA years’ experience in a manufacturing environment covering the full scope from QA systems, processes and audit requirements. -Strong knowledge ISO9001, Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), audit requirement. -Proficiency in Microsoft office, SAP and familiarity with quality inspection tools -Strong understanding of quality control procedure and standards. -Basic knowledge of supplier management and manufacturing processes. -Prefer understand optics manufacturing process.
