Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall duties / responsibilities of the Conveyancing / legal department. To draft and vet agreements affecting the Group / contracts involving the Group, including but not limited to, memorandums of understanding, memorandums of agreement and other related legal documentation. Provide advice to Management on related legal matters. Participates in government regulatory, HR / IR issues and keep the Management aware of any regulatory issues or constraints that might impact the Company’s plans and strategies. Interfaces internally and externally with colleagues and regulators to ensure realization of business goals. Advise Management on compliance or legal issues and provide solutions or corrective actions to the problem. Provide legal advice to support the respective business units by reviewing and/or drafting of contracts and agreements. This includes advising on all pre-contract, post contract and related issues. Liaise and coordinate with Company's panel lawyers. Requirements: Degree in LLB or equivalent. Minimum 5 years working experience in handling legal matters. Lawyers with strong exposure to the property development / real estate / hospitality industry are strongly encouraged to apply. Good command of written and spoken English and BM. Ability to communicate (speak and write) in Mandarin an added advantage. Ability to work independently. Possess high level of commitment, initiative, interpersonal skill and a team player.
