QA ENGINEER

1. Create and update instructions or procedures to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process. 2. Verify regular inspections and tests on parts and finished goods to identify defects or deviations from specifications. 3. Monitor and oversee production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement by routine audits. 4. Document and report any defects or quality issues, and work with the production team to resolve them. 5. Collect and analyze data on product quality and manufacturing processes to identify trends and areas for improvement. Circulate the internal quality information for all department concern. 6. Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence. 7. Work with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met. 8. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. 9. Take part in supplier audit and evaluate and monitor suppliers to ensure the quality of materials and components. 10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. 11. Arrangement of daily job of subordinates. 12. Ensure records housekeeping, storage, retrieve, and retention. 13. Ensure non conforming product is identified and segregate properly as per procedure. 14. To monitor movement activity of rework, sorting and material disposition. 15. Develop new supplier/subcontractor to achieve the quality standard and reduce manufacturing cost. 16. Conduct process audit on supplier/subcontractor when quality problems arises ICAR & SCAR. 17. To coordinate internal quality meeting on customer complaints and follow up on CCAR. 18. Assist QA Manager/Asst. QA Manager in all the operation concerning quality control. 19. Requires to travel to customer/supplier/subcontractor's premises within Malaysia or oversea to perform/co-ordinate rework/sorting activities and to perform audit or attending meeting on behalf of SDISB. 20. To perform any other jobs or duties as and when required by superior. MINIMUM SKILLS / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION 1. Minimum 2 year of working experience in quality or 3 years working experience in manufacturing. 2. Able to read technical drawing. 3. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications. 4. Degree / Diploma in any Engineering field.
