INSPECTOR OF WORK (M&E)

JOB REQUIREMENT • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent • Preferred: Registered with BEM for Inspector of Works (IOW) cert. • Candidate must have sufficient knowledge in M&E works to supervise and coordinate effectively • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience • Must be able to liaise effectively with consultants and contractors. • Good command of spoken & written English and Bahasa Malaysia. • Initiative, independent with great teamwork • Familiar with local authorities’ requirement • Possess own transport • Required: Registered with CIDB • Position is on Contract basis • Location: Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan JOB DESCRIPTION • To assist in Pre-and Post-Inspection M&E Works • To Supervise and verify the site installations and to ensure that the installations are in accordance with the approval drawings and specifications. • To witness all tests on materials supplied to site • To monitor and endorse Contractor’s report on daily activities and site condition • To attend site meetings where required • To carry out handover procedures & ensure compliance with contract documents and construction regulations • Liaise with project team members, including contractors, sub-contractors and authorities on all site matters and interfacing works. • To regularly report to relevant superiors on the progress of the works and the problem areas • To ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with the site safety standard.
