• To provide technical advice and support to sales team in study and understand the new project enquiry primarily focusing on the project requirement, site condition, floor plans, technical complication and compliances requirement. • To work hand in hand with Sales Manager in securing the project order. • To responsible in checking and finalizing all the technical shop drawings for the whole project which confirmed by Sales Team and clients. • To responsible in reviewing the technical shop drawing and construction detail in the IFC drawing to identify any abnormal or special situation for the door product. • To responsible for handling all the post sales project related activities including attending meeting with client and provide technical support and answer all the detail raised by the client. • To provide technical support to sales team in all the project related activities. • To responsible in reviewing and planning all the hardware prequalification primarily for the fire door which subject to restriction by the certification scope. • To responsible for all verification for all the shop drawings hand in hand with sales team to ensure all the needed information as well as hardware precut requirement is clearly present to production to avoid mistake. • To coordinate with Factory team to monitor and cross check the progress of the door set produce are in accordance to the project requirement. • To provide necessary improvement of idea on how to speed up the delivery of product for project and reducing the mistakes in factory production for Export project line. • To establish plan and identify system of packing and labeling system to ensure all the departments from sales to production are fully aware of what have been shipped each container against the order and liaise with client accordingly on the distribution to the site. • To attend site meeting as and when required (mainly overseas project) if there is any complaint or problems. • To provide in depth report and investigation for product supplied that receiving complaint from client and make the necessary arrangement or provide solution to the situation. • To lead and provide the installation guideline to client who is not very experience in door installation where necessary. • To responsible for design and overseeing sales programs within the company and acts as the team leader for project sales teams and ensures professional development of the team. • To establish all the technical procedures, documentations and standard policies and conduct reviews on a regular basis. When it comes to complicated technical problems that may arise, the technical sales manager should be able to make the right decisions on which solutions to implement and makes a decision on what is best for the company, whether it may be cost or length of resolution. • To ensure that the team performs within set technical guidelines by providing the set Standard Operating Procedures and to assigns each team member specific tasks and oversees their performance. • To assesses rewards and coaches technical sales professionals within the organization and provides support to front line sales people overseeing presentations, technical support together with customer presentations. • To conducts regular meetings with the team, whether as a whole or through one-on-one discussions. To provide each team member an objective or goal that he will monitor progress or status on throughout the year. He then conducts performance reviews of team members and gives them feedback, as well as makes promotion recommendations or salary increases if and when applicable. • To report and make sure balancing in the team's budget within the company set target at all times. • To ensure that the Project sales department runs smoothly and that customer needs are addressed effectively. • To manage the team of technical professionals supporting sales of the company's products, solutions as well as services. • To also manage customer situations and designs strategies necessary to maximize customer satisfaction. • To develop technical initiatives geared towards improving the effectiveness of the technical team. • To ensure your clients' and our own company's needs are met by liaising regularly with other sales personnel, and colleagues from other departments such as research and development, design, purchasing and production, and senior company managers. • To develop for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions; developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements. • To design and provide solution to clients that on our product or service that best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery; • To provide technical direction for development, design and systems integration and to review the work involved and follows the project through testing and production deployment phases. • To negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs. • To manage and verify client quotations and administering client accounts. • To meet overall company sales target and prepare strategy planning for all project related sales activities. • To be responsible for providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education and after-sales support services. • To be responsible for all levels of tasks such as troubleshooting and resolving technical problems. • To be responsible for analysis of costs of sales and monthly performance analysis. • To prepare Monthly Management Reports. • To meets with senior management regularly and gives them his monthly and annual reports, which include his team's performance, budgets and project status. • To identify and determine the visit of foreign trade shows, conferences and other marketing events; • To ensure all the product technical presentations is prepared by the team and ensure our door products meet client needs and expectation. • To liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts; helping in the design of custom-made products; • To provide on-going technical training and coaching to the sales team and other members and ensure all the supporting material is produced to meet the expectation internally and externally.
