Senior Product Designer If you're a customer centric rockstar with a growth mindset, then we want you on our team! At BigPay, we're revolutionising the FinTech space, and we're looking for a passionate Product Designer superstar to join our mission. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping user experiences by designing intuitive, user-centered digital products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including squad lead / product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to create engaging and impactful solutions. What you’ll be doing - Conduct and facilitate ideation sessions, user research, competitive analysis, design validation, and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience. - Develop user flow, user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with business goals and user needs. - Create visually appealing and functional interfaces, adhering to design principles, branding guidelines, and style standards. - Analyse user behaviour, pain points, and industry trends to solve customer-centric ambiguous problem areas in existing or new verticals. - Bring perspective and provide context for current and future UX patterns and behaviours and make the appropriate trade-offs. - Work closely with squad lead / product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions are implemented effectively and efficiently to achieve the right outcome. - Collaborate closely with Design Lead to enhance design processes, streamline workflows, and boost team capacity and efficiency. - Contribute to or help build and maintain a design system and design guidelines to ensure consistency across all products and platforms. - Lead design projects from concept to completion and provide guidance or mentorship to junior designers. - Work independently and efficiently on multiple projects of different size and scope while taking a long-term view of how it fits BigPay’s holistic vision. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of product design solutions. - Experience with Figma, Jira, and Miro. - Experience in creating or working with design systems to ensure product consistency. - Strong understanding and respect for the fundamentals of user-centric design and design thinking principles. - Excellent understanding of user experience design for the web, mobile, or touch devices. - --- -- Good eye for visual design and hands-on experience in user interface design. - Ability to prototype and demonstrate design concepts to extended stakeholders using Figma & Invision. - Experience in service design, conducting user research, or experience translating research findings into tangible product requirements are all a plus. - Experience in the Tech space. Interest in FinTech, financial applications and curiosity for numbers. - Working knowledge of common mobile and front-end web development. - Have the ability to manage time wisely across projects. - Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to create design solutions that are both user-friendly and aligned with business objectives. - Ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks and deliverables.
