Creating long-term plans and initiatives to accomplish company goals efficiently • Coordinating with other teams to implement strategies and cross-training efforts • Analyzing budgets to minimize expenses without sacrificing profits • Developing and implementing strategies to keep employees motivated and dedicated • Creating presentations and communicating with executives about plans and strategies • Identifying problems and coming up with effective solutions quickly • Monitoring changing market conditions and adjusting strategies accordingly • Conducting interviews with prospective candidates • Ensuring the efficient use of resources and the fulfilment of production quotas • Planning and directing daily operations • Making budgetary estimates and controlling expenditure • Establishing and directing operational and administrative procedures • Overseeing the application of work safety and related procedures • Overseeing the selection, training and performance of staff • Representing the department in its dealings with other divisions of the enterprise or with external agencies • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations • Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards • Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions • Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff • Commit to plant safety procedures • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets • Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
