HEAD OF RETAIL

The Head of Retail will be responsible for leading the retail operations of our pet product business. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and driving sales growth across our retail channels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pets, a strong background in retail management, and the ability to innovate in a competitive market. Job Description: 1. Supervise, train and assist employees like Retail Assistant, Customer Service and Billing Clerk in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions. 2. Create a detailed schedule for the staff, ensuring that it covers their shifts, breaks, and daily responsibilities. 3. Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store. 4. Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with Purchasing Executive to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals. 5. Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability. 6. Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times. 7. Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service. 8. To entertain and respond promptly to customer inquiry either by telephone or electronically by providing accurate information to the callers. 9. To handle customer complaints in a correct information and professional manner and to assist them with enquiries on behalf of the company. 10. Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication. 11. Achieve 100% sales target for Retail.
