Its customer base is well diversified and globally represented. We are seeking skilled CNC Machinist/Tool Setter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Additionally, they will be responsible for tool setting and ensuring the efficient performance of machinery. RESPONSIBILITY Operate a group of machines (CNC/Esco/MS) according to stipulated conditions. Hourly inspect parts and record critical dimensions Change tools according to schedule. Offset tools - identify correct dimensions, offset number and value to adjust. Follow procedures on takeover and handover shifts – visual check of sample parts, machine/tools condition and housekeeping. Examine the engineering drawing and material specification. Verify the fixture and tooling used. Set up the machine accordingly to the process plan by Engineer. Check parts produced after settings meet customers’ specifications before passing on to the machine operators and machinist to handle the machine. Trouble-shoot and fine tune machines to operate at optimum condition. Reset and adjust machines if not stable. Continuously seek to make suggestion for improvements and cycle time management. REQUIREMENT Candidate with SPM or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 2 years experience in CNC Auto-lathe machine Ability to interpret engineering drawing specification (equipment/materials requirement) and program Proficiency in to setting up and operating CNC Turning Machine Ability to use measuring equipment like micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicator and plug gauges and thread gauges Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Able to work rotating shift and Overtime
