Job Description: The Admin Nursery is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the nursery. Inventory and Stock Management: Monitor nursery inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies and plants. Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory management systems regularly. Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for. Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, addressing inquiries about plant care, availability, and pricing. Process customer orders, including online orders if applicable, and ensure timely delivery or pick-up arrangements. Resolve customer complaints or refer them to the appropriate nursery staff for further assistance. Record-Keeping and Data Entry: Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, and other financial transactions. Update databases with customer information, supplier details, and inventory movements. Prepare and generate regular reports on sales, inventory, and other nursery operations as needed. Coordination and Support for Nursery Staff: Assist nursery staff with administrative tasks, such as preparing work schedules or organizing training sessions. Coordinate with nursery workers to ensure tasks are carried out efficiently, such as watering schedules, planting, or pruning. Help with the planning and execution of special events or seasonal promotions. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the nursery complies with health and safety regulations, including proper storage of chemicals and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization in office areas and assist with keeping the nursery grounds tidy. Financial Responsibilities (if applicable): Assist in processing invoices, payments, and payroll. Track nursery expenses and work within the assigned budget.
