Job Summary: Fish fry specialist, a specialist in developing farm operation for variety of fish fry farming. The fish fry specialist will provide expert advice and guidance to ensure the smooth running of our aquaculture farm facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of fish farm practices, breeding techniques, water quality management, disease prevention, and overall facility maintenance. The role requires effective communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for producing high-quality fish. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with management and farm staff to establish and maintain efficient farm practices, ensuring optimum shrimp production and profitability. - Conduct regular assessments of the farm operations to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for process enhancements. - Provide guidance on water quality monitoring, including temperature, salinity, pH, and dissolved oxygen, and implement measures to maintain optimal conditions. - Lead and execute breeding programs, applying proven techniques and industry best practices to achieve high survival and growth rates. - Monitor the health and welfare of fish stocks, develop disease prevention strategies, and oversee the implementation of necessary treatments or biosecurity measures. - Maintain accurate records of breeding data, feeding schedules, water quality parameters, disease outbreaks, and other relevant information. - Collaborate with the research and development team to evaluate and implement new technologies or methodologies that improve farm efficiency and reduce costs. - Train and mentor farm staff on best practices, appropriate handling techniques, and data recording protocols. - Stay updated on advancements and emerging trends in fish farm practices, attending conferences or workshops to expand knowledge and expertise. - Foster positive relationships with farm suppliers, maintaining a network of trusted vendors for equipment, feed, and necessary supplies.
