Supplier Evaluation and Relationship Management • Research and identify potential suppliers based on technical capabilities, quality, and cost-effectiveness. • Perform regular supplier performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. • Foster strategic supplier relationships to ensure long-term collaboration and value. Cost Analysis and Contract Negotiation • Conduct thorough cost analyses of any external resources. • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery terms. • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs across the procurement process. Quality Assurance • Establish and maintain high-quality standards for procured items. • Collaborate with the Quality Control department to ensure compliance with specifications. • Address non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Supply Chain Optimization • Implement lean procurement practices to minimize waste and enhance efficiency. • Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions. • Identify opportunities for improvement in the procurement process. • Lead and participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives. • Implement new technologies or processes to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. Risk Assessment and Mitigation • Identify and evaluate risks in the procurement process. • Create and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks. • Continuously monitor and report risk factors to senior management.
