Responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining of production equipment through efficient performance monitoring, preventive maintenance, calibration and inspection in order to minimize the breakdown time. Responsible for trouble shooting, root cause analysis, investigations, continuous improvements and upgrading of equipment to ensure production is effectively supported and utilities are complying with PICs and Factories and Machineries Act. To attend relevant meetings to ensure issues raised are properly discussed and resolved in an amicable environment and in a timely manner. Important decision and action plans of the meetings are to be properly circulated for proper action by related personnel. To notify the management on any abnormalities found at responsible areas and propose suitable remedial action. To plan, control and maintain the storage and disbursement of spare parts for all systems. To manage and supervise the distribution, execution and completion of Engineering Job Requisition (EJR) form. To plan, control and liaise with any third-party jobs carried out by suppliers to ensure its proper execution comply to GMP & EHS requirement, to the agreed job quality, cost and delivery schedule. To involve in qualification or re-qualification and validation activities as User Requirements Specification, Design Qualification, Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Performance Qualification of new equipment. To update all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) as appropriate for all related utilities and provide training / briefing to all related department and personnel. To supervise, train and coach subordinates to ensure adequacy in their skills and knowledge while maintaining good working environment and inculcate positive and healthy attitude amongst staffs. To assist the management in submitting the required information to the local regulators e.g DOE and DOSH accurately and on timely. To ensure all activities performed complies with HALAL, ISO (9001, 14001, 18001 and 17025), cGMP and GDP (PIC/S, US-FDA, EU-GMP and EU-GDP), local regulatory and third-party principal requirements. To undertake any other duties as directed by the Immediate Supervisor and Management as and when required.
