JOB PURPOSE • Prepare and advise the project team in executing project cost management within and across the project lifecycle which are critical to the achievement of overall project goals. • Support and execute project cost estimating, budgeting, and operation cost matters for Project Management Teams & Business Leaders to achieve project results. • Execute project cost management matters for Project Management Teams/Business Leaders towards making effective decision/direction to achieve project results. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Guide the project team in executing project cost management within and across the project lifecycle which are critical to the achievement of overall project goals. • Update and notify on project cost management matters for Project Management Teams/Business Leaders towards making effective decision/direction to achieve project results. • Assist and prepare: o The formation/establishment of the project cost baseline in line with contractual scope and responsibility. o The formation and establishment of cost baseline for MO inhouse work in line with project need and requirement. o The preparation of the detailed working budget upon discussion with Commercial, Procurement, PMT and other relevant stakeholder for management approval. • Update the monitoring and controlling the evolution of project cost and consult appropriate control measures to ensure all project expenditures meet cost baseline. • Update the working budget and its execution as approved by LOA and monitor the budgetary information from project. • Update cost performance assessment and cost variance, notification to management of any foreseeable under or overrun in project cost. • Update project cost performance and provide all concerned parties with regular feedback and advice. • Prepare and advise the preparation of Cost analysis, estimation and forecasting, advise cost trending and forecasting analysis for project, provide information on cost and budgetary issues related to the project to concerned and conduct analysis on actual performance against plan. • Provide input for the following but not limited to o The cost status review and cost reporting o The establishment of Project Close Out Reports (Commercial) • Provide information to Team Leader, Cost Control on the overall Project Cost Data Tracking Database. • Knowledge in project contract functions in the formation of pre contracts and subcontracts, administration of post contracts and subcontracts, management of change/variations with the client, subcontractors and any other stakeholders including contracts and subcontracts risk. JOB REQUIREMENT • Degree in Engineering/Any equivalent field • Min 3-8 years’ experience in Marine Operation Project Management.
