1. To actively solicit and book all types of wedding and social group business from various sources of leads. 2. Perform daily telephone solicitations to new and existing accounts/customers in defined geographic region. 3. Develop accounts (new and existing) by mapping specific business and buying tendencies. 4. To develop creative and attractive menu presentations for potential clients. 5. Maintain communication/relationship with WSO network for specific assigned region, as well as other FS hotels toward achieving pre-determined revenue goal. 6. To maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all enquiries and referrals with a weekly report on the effort. 12. To coordinate the sales efforts between sales department and F & B to ensure proper utilization of space to yield maximum revenues. 13. To negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs. 14. To comfortably entertain appropriate clients to secure business for the property. 15. To finalize all bookings maximizing all revenue potential by up-selling in all revenue producing areas. 16. To keep Director of Food & Beverage promptly and fully informed of all the problems or unusual matters so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate. 17. To coordinate with other departments to ensure quality of guest satisfaction. 18. To supervise the execution of wedding events at least 7 working days before the event with a detailed BEO with information of the couple’s designation and organization employed. 19. To review all BEOs to ensure accuracy in content as well as spelling with accurate menus attached. 20. To review all wedding locations or any requirement for a group or function prior to the event if necessary. 21. To handle wedding and social group leads from start until the end. 22. To provide input on the marketing plan and budget. 23. To assist in developing and executing projects assigned to increase wedding bookings, volume, and profit. 24. To respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation. 25. To fully utilize and manage the Delphi system. 26. To conduct at least 1 market survey per year on competitor’s packages and pricing. 27. To attend any related trade shows/fairs on current market competition. 28. Receive couple upon checking in on wedding day and upon checking-out. 29. To perform other tasks or projects assigned by Director of Marketing or the Resort. 30. To support Conference Services Manager during her/his absence or if high demand of groups is there.
