Occupational Health Nurse (OHN)

1. Performing professional nursing care to employees. 2. Responsible to keep HSE Manager and Safety Health Officer informed of any workplace injury and documented it properly. 3. Promote the safety and health of all employees by prevention, recognition, and treatment of injuries and illnesses. 4. Provide primary nursing care for occupational injuries and illnesses, including emergency care and referral, based upon nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, treatment plan including follow-up and re-evaluation of care, physician’s standing orders and scope of nursing practice. 5. Interface with line management, union, supervisors, managers, safety, site emergency response team, and external health care providers in the promotion of a safe, healthy work environment. 6. Provide management of medical surveillance programs including documentation of findings, appropriate medical review and post-surveillance follow-up and counselling with employees. 7. Provide effective case management to improve quality of life for employees, improve productivity and reduce overall company benefit costs. 8. Submit weekly report to immediate superior.
