PROPOSAL ENGINEER (VALVES & CORROSION)

POSITION: PROPOSAL ENGINEER (VALVES & CORROSION) MYR 2000 - MYR 4000 Annual bonus: 1 – 4 months based on Annual KPI review results Working period: Monday to Friday (Half day on Alternate Saturdays) 9.00 am to 6.00 pm QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 1.Possess at least Degree in Engineering courses ie. Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical etc. Diploma holder with relevant working experience may consider. 2.Fresh graduates or at least 2 years working experience, preferably as proposal engineer- Experience in creating detailed technical and commercial proposals, especially for onshore/offshore oil & gas projects or similar industries. 3.Proficient in MS Office. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES 1.Detailed oriented 2.Attention to details 3.Team player 4.Demonstrate high drive 5.Able to work under pressure 6.Willingness to learn DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Strong organizational skills to ensure all aspects of the proposal, from technical compliance to pricing, are accurate and professionally presented. 2.Able to manage multiple projects and proposals simultaneously without missing deadlines. 3.Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with internal team ie. Sales , Project and client. 4.Able to liaise with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to gather necessary technical information during bidding. 5.Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals for tenders and RFQs (Request for Quotations). 6.Analyze client specifications, technical requirements, and tender documents to ensure the proposal meets all criteria. 7.Prepare and format all proposal-related documents, including datasheets, technical drawings, compliance statements, and certificates ie. API, Firesafe. 8.Assist in preparing responses to clarifications, post-bid evaluations, and any technical queries raised by the client. 9.Keep all the documentations updated ie. Reference List, Quotation List 10.Prepare the handover meeting to the Project Team once PO received.
