POSITION SUMMARY: The Executive of Product Innovation & Improvement in the food and beverage industry will drive the development and enhancement of product offerings, focusing on innovative solutions that meet evolving consumer trends and preferences. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to ideate, test, and launch new products while refining existing ones to boost quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management within the F&B sector, a passion for culinary trends, and the ability to inspire creativity and collaboration to achieve strategic business goals. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES: 1. Conduct market research to identify consumer preferences, trends, and demands in the industry. 2. Identify potential risks associated with product development or modifications 3. Collaborate with R&D and product designers to develop the formulation and design of new product. 4. Conduct Experiment and product testing based on feedback collected from customer. 5. Conduct trial and test for material based on quality issue reported. 6. Gather relevant data from various sources, both internal and external, for analysis and reporting purposes. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Possesses at least a bachelor in Food Technologist / Food Science or equivalent. 2. 1-2 years’ proven experience in Research & Development. 3. Must have experience in food & beverages industry. 4. Able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all level of staff. 5. Able to work independently with minimum supervision. 6. Able to work in team as a leader. 7. Willing to work/relocate in Sungai Petani.
