Supplier Quality Management Engineer(MNC Electronics)-Tebrau

Position title: Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Engineer (Mandarin speaker) Working location: Tebrau, Johor Bahru Company background: Our well-established client is MNC specializing in manufacturing electronics components, modules, and systems with factories and offices in over 30 countries. They are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented candidate to fill their current job opening of Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Engineer based in Tebrau, Johor Bahru. Job Functions: • Improve quality of supply chain. • Achieve high levels of product quality at the lowest possible cost. Job Descriptions: • Take lead for solving supplier quality problems in running production and field issues. • Identify, communicate and resolve supplier serious quality deviations (stop shipments/field actions). • Support the production with various supplier related issues. • Drive continuous improvement and resolution of systemic supplier concerns. • SAP works. • Ability to travel to suppliers’ sites. • Supplier assessment. • Follow up status of phased of documentation for new or changes parts at suppliers. • Perform others related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time. Job Requirements: • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical/) or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years in manufacturing environment. • Familiar with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, TS16949). • Proficient with SAP and quality management tools. • Willingness to travel to supplier sites. • Strong analytical skills and experience resolving supplier quality issues. • Proficient in Mandarin as the candidate need to deal with China supplier. • Candidate must be willing to work in Tebrau, Johor Bharu.
