Responsibilities Operations/Maintenance: • Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex scaffolding projects on offshore platforms or vessels, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. • Supervise and mentor junior scaffolders, providing guidance on technical skills, safety protocols, and best practices in scaffolding construction and maintenance. • Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments of scaffolding installations, identifying and addressing any safety or structural concerns. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions to scaffolding challenges and optimize project efficiency. • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining documentation and records as required. • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in scaffolding construction and safety, incorporating best practices into operations. • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the scaffolding team, promoting adherence to standards and accountability for results. QHSE: • Ensure there is a valid "Permit To Work" for the task if required. • Inspect all tools and scaffold materials prior to work execution. • Inspect the scaffold and update the validity date on the scaffold tag. • Follow the drops prevention procedure. • Ensure approved fall protection equipment is used for working at height tasks. • Display signage and barricade the area beneath the scaffold worksite.
