Traffic Management Officer - BASED IN LAWAS/SABAH

Develop and implement traffic management plans (TMP) for construction sites to ensure the safety of road users and workers. Coordinate with local authorities and relevant stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals for traffic management. Supervise and oversee the placement of traffic control devices, such as signs, cones, barriers, and traffic signals, according to the TMP. Ensure compliance with traffic management regulations, guidelines, and safety standards. Monitor traffic flow around construction sites to identify and address any traffic disruptions or hazards. Provide regular updates and reports on traffic management activities to the project team and authorities. Conduct site inspections to ensure traffic management plans are properly implemented and maintained. Train and supervise traffic marshals and other personnel involved in traffic control. Respond to traffic-related incidents or emergencies on-site, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact. Review and revise traffic management plans as needed to accommodate project changes or new risks. Ensure proper signage, detour routes, and temporary traffic control measures are effectively communicated to the public. Collaborate with the project team to ensure safe movement of vehicles and construction machinery in and out of the site. Maintain accurate records of traffic management activities, including incident reports and equipment logs.
