Sous Chef - SC • Working location : Malaysia - Brunei • Job type : 2 Years Contract (Renewable) • Salary : Max BND 3500/RM11,000 + accommodation & airfare • Benefits : 14 days annual leave, free accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, flight to Brunei & home, etc • Industry : Food Caterer for Airline & Hospitals Job Responsibilities : • Responsible for preparing gourmet meals for Airline and VVIP airlines services. • Aviation Sous chef is also responsible for planning, preparing and cooking meals that meet high standards of cuisine, safety required for in flight dining. • Menu Development – Creating gourmet and specialized menus tailored to passenger preferences, dietary restrictions and the duration of flights, Chef may also need to adjust recipes to accommodate the unique taste challenges of dining at high altitudes • Team Leadership – leading kitchen employees to ensure that all foods is prepared to the highest standard • Quality Control – Maintain strict quality control measures for food presentation, flavour and consistency, ensuring the meals meet the airline’s expectation • Food Safety and hygiene – Ensure adherence to food safety regulations such s proper storage, transportation and preparation to prevent contamination and ensure passenger health • Coordination with suppliers – Collaboration with suppliers and logistic Requirements : • Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Sous Chef, preferably in aviation catering, fine dining, or luxury hotel environments. • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulation, Halal regulations (HACCP certified is a plus) • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Creative and passionate about food with strong attention to details. • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate effectively with all level • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early morning, late night and weekends. • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification If you are interested to consider this job opportunity, please send us your CV to [email protected] or WhatsApp 011-5434 1797
