Pharmacy Assistant

Assist the pharmacist in daily operations including but not limited to the following : 1. Participates in planning and organizing the compounding and dispensing activities of the company. 2. Implements Operational manuals, production plans and programs. 3. Ensures conformance of compounding processes to organizational objectives and policies. 4. Checks the availability of adequate raw and packing materials, utilities and equipment parts. 5. Assuring all ingredients, substances and finished products are safe and secure in the pharmacy. 6. Plans and executes the daily production plans according to the schedule. 7. Controls production process and production facilities and ensure that compounding activities are in compliance with the requirements of SOPs and all standard yields along production lines are maintained. 8. Ensures the general cleanliness and hygienic conditions of the compounding areas and production personnel. 9. Ensures that all production equipment is maintained in good working order. 10. Assists in pilot scale trials of products under development. 11. Responsible for all paper works for compounding (prescription screening, calculations, worksheet among others) 12. Ensures production personnel are kitted in relevant PPEs before entering into production area in accordance with relevant SOPs. 13. Make proposals for improving production methods and products. 14. Ensure required tests (QA and QC) are done. 15. Performs other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist: Operations.
