JOB DESCRIPTION Job Responsibilities • To plan, organize and conduct Routine Road inspection to all contracted roads to identify, evaluate and prioritize road defects • plan, organize, direct and control together with the Operation Executive all the required maintenance activities to be carried out by the in-house maintenance crew. • To conduct weekly work scheduling meeting to plan out the maintenance activities and work reporting • Assist to prepare and submit Monthly and Quarterly Work Schedules • To conduct, compile and submit the road inventory and annual road condition survey data for the section office in a timely manner • To ensure all company’s assets (plants & machineries, vehicles, equipment and small tools, etc) are being handled with care. • Coordinate with Operation side for any emergency case to produce initial report to internal and external clients. • Assist to prepare, monitor and review the Annual Work Programme and Budget for the section office • Verify the work done by subcontractors on Routine Works, Periodic Works and Instructed Works • To receive, evaluate and respond to any call/request/complaints affecting contract roads & to attend and deploy maintenance crew immediately in emergency situations (such as road flooding & washout, landslides or culvert/bridge failures) to ensure traffic are proper control or diverted safely. • Arrange, compile and submit document for Monthly Quality Audit including material testing whenever required. • To attend to technical meeting with the client for updating the maintenance work programme whenever required. • Adhere to company policies and procedures, comply to safety requirements and maintain high commitment and discipline throughout employment period • Carry out any task assigned by Superiors from time to time Job Requirements • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent • 3-5 years relevant working experience • Well-versed in road construction & maintenance • Strong technical, co-ordination & communication skills both spoken & written • Good interaction skills to build relation with client, relevant government departments, local authorities or other agencies • Strong command in Information Technology and proficient in MS Office software.
