Role & Responsibilities
- To report to Head of Contract and shall be responsible for all QS and contractual matters related to the execution of the construction contract including but not limited to payment certificates, claims, variation orders, etc.
- Provide assistance to the team during sourcing, selecting, negotiations, arbitration or any other forms of dispute resolution.
- Regularly monitor on project quality and quantity in conformity with project specification and requirements.
- Checking and reviewing subcons claim.
- Measuring quantities/taking off.
- Preparing variation orders (VO).
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant discipline from a recognised university.
- Minimum 5 years of strong work experience with roads & infrastructure projects.
- Able to work within tight deadline.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Computer literacy and excellent communication skills are essential.
