Website: https://www.salvationarmy.org/malaysia Job Description Carry out all duties with honesty, punctuality, and commitment to deadlines. Respond to donor and customer inquiries via phone, email, voicemail, or webmail promptly, adhering to service level agreements. Inspire, engage, and motivate donors and customers to support the organization. Plan and schedule collections and deliveries effectively, liaising with logistics and processing center personnel. Manage the documentation for collections and deliveries (e.g., Collection Orders, Acknowledgement Receipts). Take and review photographs of donation items to assess their value, ensuring proper documentation is maintained. Maintain and update the organization’s website and blog as part of administrative duties. Assist the supervisor in organizing and executing events, potentially requiring weekend or evening involvement. Support the development and execution of donation, educational, and publicity campaigns to raise awareness of The Salvation Army. Help to attract new donors and sponsors. Solicit feedback from donors to improve services and enhance donor engagement. Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary. Report any incidents, damages, or feedback promptly to the respective Supervisor or Manager. Qualifications Min SPM qualification or equivalent. Experience in a customer service or donor relations Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) or basic website/blog management skills for maintaining the organization’s digital presence. Other Information Other Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for responding to inquiries via phone, email, and webmail, as well as for coordinating with internal teams with donors and customers and handling inquiries. The ability to manage schedules, documentation, and logistics efficiently. Familiarity with maintaining websites and blogs, as well as proficiency in relevant software. Ensuring accuracy in documentation, donor feedback, and logistics planning. Strong teamwork skills are important for participating in team meetings, briefings, and working effectively with other departments.
