Science Laboratory Technician

Knewton Global Schools Miri is located in the Malaysian state of Sarawak on the north coast of the island of Borneo. Our campus has both a British International and a National Private School, caring for approximately 530 students aged 3-17 years old from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds. We seek to recruit a Science Laboratory Technician to assist and support the teaching and learning of teachers and students in the school. The main duties include: • the preparation and clearing away of practical lessons • stock control • maintaining science laboratories and preparation rooms and their equipment and services • ensuring Health & Safety procedures are maintained and observed and • other day to day duties to support the teachers Requirements • The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge in any Science subjects or experience of working in a laboratory • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply • Good communication and interpersonal skills with high levels of initiative • Work independently with high degree of responsibility Applicants must submit a cover letter and an updated CV to [email protected] by 25 October 2024.
