Job Purpose:

Provide enterprise-level assistance to our user. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help user to install applications and programs. Monitor and maintain the computer systems, Server, and networks of an organisation. You will be installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and solving technical and applications problem.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible, for installation and maintenance of all IT Hardware, infrastructure, and services.
  • Oversees, network/server/workstation maintenance and troubleshooting, budgetary control, problem resolution, and information security.
  • Monitor computer networks for security issues.
  • Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
  • Install security measures and operate software to protect systems.
  • Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
  • Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
  • Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.
  • Perform penetration testing.
  • Develop positive relationship with vendor and ensure solutions applied are within company’s direction.
  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
  • Responsible administering disaster plans that will keep the company functional.
  • Determine rationale and methods for upgrading company network software programs each time an update is released.
  • Monitor changing network technology and deliver a technology update to the executive team each quarter.
  • Coordinate team to ensure task schedule are on track with regular updates.
  • Experience with Firewall Palo Alto, SonicWALL , Cisco meraki, Server and other network security devices.
  • Experience with administration in Server virtualization technology, on

Qualifications

Must to have: Candidate must possess at least Post-Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / IT or equivalent.

Good to have: Learning attitude.

  • Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
  • Experience with Firewall management.
  • Server and other network security devices.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012 onward operating systems, patching, backup/restore, monitoring and other management/administration Software and components.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and windows clustering technologies
  • Hands-on experience working with SAN/NAS storage sub-systems.
  • Experience on SQL databases management such as backup, recovery, and maintenance.
  • Has 2+ years of experience in, network topology & security and retail equipment’s.
