Job Summary/Objective: The Senior Executive, Warehouse will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse management, a strong understanding of inventory control, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. The Senior Warehouse Executive will play a key role in optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, and maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Duties & Responsibilities: - Strategically manage all warehouse operations in compliance with company’s policies and vision that includes Raw Material Warehouse, Chemical and Engineering Warehouse, Finish Goods Warehouse. Ensure that products are received in good condition and accurate quantity. Liaise with supplier to repair, replace, or return goods of inferior condition. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations. Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements. Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system. Manage an accurate inventory system and conduct regular cycle counts. Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc). Organize, direct and control manpower and cleaning of equipment to meet production schedules, quality, and targets. Train, develop and motivate staff to achieve high performance standards. Optimize operation efficiency and reduce wastage, prioritize hygiene and good housekeeping practices. Propose methods for continuous improvements in process & operational efficiency. Initiate problem-solving and trouble-shooting processes and reduce warehouse operation related problems and delays. Coordinate with Logistics & Production on raw material receiving and deliveries to meet demand supply. Responsible for traceability of the work orders and inventory control. Responsible for inventory management include inventory movement, stock counting, stock control and other inventory matter. Optimize warehouse space, planning, and organizing day-to-day inventory and control process to ensure smooth operations. Responsible on shortage of stock/inventory. Ensure the warehouse are well organized that all store items are accounted for. To monitor the warehouse storage from time to time to optimize space utilization and to improve efficiency of overall processes. Carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management/Superior from time to time. Leadership Character. Guiding all subordinates in all WH’S and monitor their work and assigning tasks to them. Being able to justify and investigate when variances occurs. Conduct weekly stock take and ensuring system and actual inventory tallying. Setting SOP’S & KPI’S to control measures for the Warehouse department to smoothen operations. Setting minimum level of carrying stock for all materials and coordinate with the responsible department. Ensuring all materials are issued out based on FIFO. Updating production department/QC/Procurement department on stock levels on weekly basis. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or similar field. More than 5 years related working experiences. Pleasant personality, good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to promote a culture of safety. Well versed in SAP software/system (SAP Business 1). Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and other relevant technologies. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Possess leadership quality. Strong analytical skill. Committed and result driven. Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure. With strong self-initiative and creative.
