Quality Inspector (Semiconductor)

Key Responsibilities : - Ensures incoming parts from supply chain companies and internally produced component meet the quality standards and system required. - Support all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (e.g. internal, supplier, customer and customer warranty) - Identify root cause and investigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues. - Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards. - Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained. - Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators including scrap monitoring and rework levels. - Stop production in the event of manufacture of unacceptable good/processes. - Write product inspection and/ test procedure. - Assist in training of quality awareness. - Report on KPI in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system. - Assist with first off sample approval. - Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements. - Participate in the development and refinement of FMEA, CPAR, Pareto Principle or related quality management tools and techniques. - Participate in Quality Audits. - Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality. - Contribute to continuous improvement activities and Quality Control of work by appropriate reviews. - Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems. Professional and Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field. - At least 5 years of experience and above in quality Inspector for semiconductor manufacturing. - In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and industry. - Excellent communication, self-motivated, hardworking and positive. - Strong interpersonal skill, presentation and selling skills. - Good spoken and written in English.
