Summary:
An experienced Assistant Manager – AP/AR with a strong background in Shared Services Center (SSC), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), or manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will have over 9 years of relevant experience in finance, and accounting, including hands-on experience in managing AP and AR functions. This role will involve overseeing a team of 10 or more professionals to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.

Responsibility:

  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of 10+ in the AP/AR functions, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • AP/AR Operations: Oversee daily AP and AR operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and collections.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in AP/AR to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure the timely preparation and submission of financial reports related to AP and AR, and work closely with the finance team for month-end and year-end closings.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and financial standards in AP/AR functions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies and provide insights for financial decisions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (certification is a plus but not required).
  • Experience: Minimum 9 years of experience in AP/AR, preferably in SSC, BPO, or manufacturing industries.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team of at least 10 members.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes, accounting principles, and financial software (SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM10,500.00 per month
