JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
1. Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with all patient and their family.
2. Restores and promotes patients’ health by completing the nursing process.
3. Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
4. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
5. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and hospital or regulatory standards.
6. Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
7. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
8. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; medication administration and storage procedures; and controlled substance regulations.
9. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
10. Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
11. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
12. Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
13. Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information and participating in team problem-solving methods.
14. Other duties as assigned by Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Possess a Diploma / Advance Diploma / Bachelor in Nursing.
2. Possess valid APC and Basic Life Support Certification and registered with Malaysian Nursing Board.
3. Possessing Post Basic in Perioperative, A&E, and/or another area will be an added advantage.
4. Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based nursing experience in a private hospital environment.
5. Good knowledge of nursing practices, standards and statutory requirements including has gone through the licensing requirement of a private hospital.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From RM2,300.00 per month
