- Contact customers with outstanding debts and negotiating payment arrangements on behalf of the company.
- Develop payment plans and settlement agreements based on customers' financial circumstances and the organization's policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities in the system, including communications with customers and payment arrangements.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism when interacting with customers.
- Resolve customer inquiries, disputes, and complaints related to overdue payments promptly.
- Initiate legal action when necessary, including filing lawsuits or engaging third-party collection agencies, to recover outstanding debts in accordance with legal guidelines.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Minimum STPM qualification or relevant experience will be considered.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Loan and Recovery Officer.
- Experience with auction and legal processes related to hire purchase loans is preferred.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective communication with customers and stakeholders. Proficiency in English & Mandarin is an advantage and will be valued.
