Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the company complies with all relevant regulatory requirements. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to interpret and implement new regulations. 3. Policy Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that could impact the company. Analyze policy changes and provide recommendations to senior management on potential impacts and necessary actions. 4. Advocacy and Lobbying: Develop and execute advocacy strategies to influence public policy in areas that affect the company’s business. Participate in industry associations and working groups to represent the company’s position. 5. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various stakeholders, including industry groups, NGOs, and community organizations, to build a positive reputation and foster goodwill. 6. Public Affairs: Collaborate with corporate communications to manage public affairs, develop messaging, and communicate the company’s stance on policy issues to both internal and external audiences. 7. Crisis Management: Serve as a point of contact in the event of a regulatory crisis or compliance issue. Coordinate with legal, compliance, and PR teams to manage the response. 8. Internal Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on government affairs activities, legislative changes, and strategic recommendations. 9. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): Work closely with the CSR team to align community engagement and social responsibility efforts with government policies and local regulations. 10.Compliance Training: Assist in developing and delivering compliance training to employees to ensure awareness and adherence to relevant regulations and policies.
