Position Summary The Business Development Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the Business Development Senior Head of Department (HOD) in various administrative tasks and promotional activities to help increase income and resources for St. Nicholas' Home. This role involves a combination of administrative, organizational, and collaborative responsibilities aimed at promoting the organization's services throughout Malaysia. Details of Responsibilities Administrative Support: Provide thorough administrative assistance by handling the typing of letters, maintaining organized filing systems, managing photocopying tasks, and completing other administrative duties as needed. Departmental Liaison: Collaborate closely with all departments within St. Nicholas' Home to raise awareness of the services available to the community and throughout Malaysia. Promotional Outreach: Assist the BD HOD in coordinating and organizing visits to business entities such as banks, retail stores, factories, hotels, and other organizations, with the goal of securing funding for the sheltered workshops. Correspondence Management: Oversee the dispatch of official letters and proposals to ensure monthly targets are met, supporting the income generation initiatives of the department. Content Creation: Develop new and updated content annually for various materials, including newsletters, annual reports, brochures, and catalogs, ensuring all materials are relevant, appealing, and in alignment with the organization’s image. Promotional Material Management: Manage the printing and inventory of all promotional materials for the department, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained at all times. Additional Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management, as required to support the organization’s goals and mission. This role is crucial in supporting St. Nicholas' Home's efforts to enhance visibility and secure resources, enabling it to serve the community more effectively.
