Responsibilities: 1. The machinist will be responsible to operates and maintain machines such as lathe, milling, shaper, drill and others, handling tools, housekeeping, comply with HSE and regulation to ensure smooth operations in CIMA. Aside from that, they are responsible to do the maintenance for equipment to ensure it is running smoothly and ensure CIMA is in compliance with local regulations. 2. Operates milling, lathe, shaper, drill or others related machine for machining related parts required for plant equipment. 3. Review samples, drawing or instructions to understand specifications of parts to be machined. 4. Take measurements, sketch and marking material for cutting or shaping. 5. Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages. 6. Keep records of approved and defective units or final products. 7. Assist Mechanical Engineer and Supervisor in checking the quality of incoming spare parts. 8. Work in normal or shift and available 24 hours for emergency maintenance if required, ensure work compliances to standards, tolerances and fits for the plant to be able to operate in normal conditions. 9. Perform regular inspection at section area to find any misbehavior, monitor and report for any problems / issues related to equipment at section area to prevent equipment breakdown. 10. Any responsibilities that assigned by HOD or superior from time to time. 11. Carry out project installation, fabrication and modification as instructed by Engineer or superior for better improvement. 12. Implement 5s practices and good housekeeping at the storage and workplace area to improve CIMA’s productivity together with the quality of products. 13. Adhere and comply with HSE rules and regulations, quality, and energy management by carry out safety observations, analysis and improvement/proposal to achieve ZERO LTI. 14. Quality, Environmental and Safety management system conforms to the requirement of international standard and mechanical job done is in accordance with relevant codes ASME, ASTM to comply with CIMA Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulation. Requirement: 1. SPM with competent certificate/ Diploma in Manufacturing Technology (machining) or any related discipline. 2. 10 years experience preferably in cement production or heavy industry. 3. Special skills in machining and measurement.
