Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing of High Precision Tooling Components
  • Position Title: QC Inspector (Precision Machining)
  • Working Location: Commonwealth
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 6pm
  • Salary Package: Up to $3,500 + OT + Up to 2 months of Variable Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure production operations meet required standards.
  • Recommend any necessary adjustments and modifications to production processes to ensure product quality.
  • Inspect and test materials and equipment produced by the company to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to assess products for accuracy.
  • Identify and remove products that do not meet production standards and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for review and resolution.
  • Accept or reject finished products and communicate inspection results with the production team for necessary improvements.
  • Perform random in-process inspections to monitor product quality at various stages of the production cycle.
  • Execute other related duties as assigned.

  • At least 1 year of experience working as a QC Inspector in the Precision Machining industry.
  • Familiarity with production processes in the Precision Machining field is essential.
  • Technical skills to understand and interpret blueprints, documents, and technical manuals.
  • Basic proficiency in mathematics and computer skills for documentation and quality reporting.
