DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Allocate daily assignment to Room Attendants
- Conducts morning briefings to Room Attendants
- Check daily occupancy reports
- Reads log books and follow up as required
- Updates logbook and communicates important information
- Follow up on trace reports for special guests requests, VIP rooms and carries them out
- Inspects check out rooms before reporting them ready for sale after it has been cleaned by Room Attendants according to set standard.
- Daily room checking including check on occupied/long stay guests rooms, out of order and service rooms and vacant inspected rooms
- Inspects all areas, corridors, pantries, service areas, staircases and ensure they are clean at all times
- Checks and order supplies for designated floors
- To report to Engineering of any maintenance job and follow up to ensure job is completed
- To ensure that all Lost and Found items are recorded according to procedure set
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
- Attends daily meeting and communicates special instructions to team members
- Assists Room Attendants when they are short handed – “hands on” approach
- Provide trainings for new recruits
- Assist with room inventories
- Reports losses from rooms
- Supervises turn down service
- Investigates complaints and take corrective measures
- Attends training conducted by training department
- Be familiar with Housekeeping office/Laundry procedures
- Any other duties assigned from time to time by Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Executive Housekeeper
*The candidate must have 2 years working experience in Hotel Industry*

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
